- Order of the Horn and Bow
When Avacal became a Kingdom many of the awards of Montengarde were updated to pass as a kingdom. To that end Peter von Setzingen and Brangwayn Hesson did split the former Order of the Horns of the Minotaur into two streams.
The Order of the Horn and Bow is to be bestowed upon those individuals whose actions in the field of Archery best exemplify the pursuit of honour and glory in the name of the Barony of Montengarde and whose actions and leadership we as the populace can take pride in.
The wording of the First Scroll as crafted by Baron Peter:
- "Peter, Wise Baron, and Brangwayn, Elegant Baroness, to the populace, lords, peers, and sergeants of our lands, Greetings. Be it known that we have recognized the noble qualities of our subject; we have seen their ability to shoot, to teach, and to lead among Montengarde’s Archers. Thus it is our wish to enter ________________________ to the rolls of the Order of the Horn and Bow. Given with our esteem, this ____ day of ______________, AS ____."
