James started playing in Rhuddglyn in 2008. He moved to Sigelhundas in 2010 but made friends from all over Avacal. He was always willing to help out or start up a game of chess.
On Saturday July 23, 2011, while travelling from Lloydminster to the Quad War site, James was was killed in a head-on collision. Sam and Max, his beloved Labrador retrievers, were also killed. A memorial was planned for Quad War 2011.
