As with other heraldic arms, the populace badges should be treated with respect. They represent the people of the kingdom, not just the nobility; dishonorable use or display may result in repercussions. Additionally, certain arms may be connected to vendor rights (i.e., certain vendors may have official or legal right to produce items for sale with the arms). Individuals are encouraged to contact their local or the kingdom offices with questions and concerns about the display and use of the badges.

Blazon: ''(Fieldless) A lion's head erased contourny sable.''

Mundane Description: This badge can be displayed on any color background (the ''fieldless'' designates it as not officially having one). The lion's head is black and faces towards the right (''contourny''). The tufts of hair (furry bits) hanging down at the end of the neck are important to the design; it will not be correctly displayed if they are "cut off" or drawn with straight lines. Likewise, the head should always be facing to the right.

As with the Badge with border, the teeth, eyes and tongue may be colored as deemed appropriate; it is not officially defined. The tongue and eyes are commonly presented as ''gules'', or red, while the teeth are presented as ''argent'', or silver/white.

Blazon: ''Checky Or and argent, a dexter tierce sable''.

Mundane description: The black band on the left should be 1/4 to 1/3 of the whole width of the flag, and the checkerboard should be made up of at least three squares across and four down. The overall shape of the flag should be square or slightly taller than wide. The gold/yellow and silver/white squares must start with a gold/yellow square in the top left corner.

Notably, the ensign was specifically designed to be easy to sew.

The image on the right shows the ''front'' of the ensign; the image on the left shows the front and back from left to right. The back of the ensign is a mirror image of the front. The black band is ''always'' next to the flagpole.

The ensign may be adapted to a triangular pennon shape where appropriate (e.g., the head of a lance, as a small flag on top of a pavilion, etc). It is ''not'' to be used as a design for a tabard or gown, to be painted on a box, or as anything other than a flag.
