"Smalls" is SCA jargon for "children".
Mostly used to refer to children under the age of about 12, but is sometimes used up until the child turns 14.
Note:
In the middle ages, "smalls" referred to underwear and "children" referred to children. As a result of this many in the SCA find the term to be inappropriate.
