Barony of Montengarde: Given in recognition of skill and accomplishment in the Bardic Arts.
The Order of the Sable Drum is an award for the Barony of Montengarde. Created in Anno Societatis 52 by Brangwayn Hessen and Peter von Setzingen to recognise those who have entertained their Barony well and furthered our word fame through acting, storytelling, wordsmithing, song and other skills.
History
The first wording of the Award scroll for the Order of the Sable Drum:
The drums of war sound across the battlefield and voices rise in song and celebration. The feast hall echoes with laughter and the skalds recount the deeds of Heroes Past. A single voice rises above the rest, proclaiming the might of Montengarde. Thus are we minded to add ________________________’s name to the rolls of the Order of the Sable Drum.
