Event Highlights
Aiden ap Grendal inspired by Issabbella Kendal of Raven's Rift was victorious against Murchad mac Artgal inspired by Fionnghuala ingen Chellaig in the Coronet Tournament.
Coronet Tournament format: Regarding the format for the Coronet Tournament, Their Highnesses of Avacal wish the following: 1. Shields shall conform to tournament sizing ie. heater shield shoulder to shoulder chin to crotch 2. SCA membership and subscription to the Advantgarde for both fighter and consort 3. All consorts are encouraged to attend the Consort's Morning tea. 4. A display of heraldry (preferably a banner of some sort that can be displayed during the tournament and event) In response to the success at September Crown, We are issuing the following additional requirements. 5. Every fighter is to have some documentation on their persona and what armour, weapons and fighting style would be appropriate to them. 6. At least one part of each fighter's kit should be appropriate to their persona.
We hope that everyone takes this as an opportunity to improve their kit and to better Avacal with the further development of your persona.
